Shivaughn DeVeaux Pearson is a seasoned fashion professional with over 15 years of experience in styling, visual merchandising, and creative direction. Her journey began with a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing from Western Michigan University, followed by a move to New York City, where she refined her skills in luxury fashion and visual storytelling.
Starting as an intern at Seventh House PR, Shivaughn advanced to Fashion Assistant Editor at Flaunt magazine, collaborating with renowned photographers like Gilles Bensimon and Ben Watts. She gained valuable experience assisting stylists on commercial shoots for global brands, including L'Oréal Paris and Maybelline, and has styled commercials for Microsoft.
Her expertise in visual merchandising spans luxury retail, working with prestigious brands such as Versace, DKNY, Tommy Hilfiger, Coach, and Fresh Cosmetics. Shivaughn's strategic approach to visual storytelling, combined with a keen eye for detail, has elevated brand presentations and enhanced customer experiences. Her contributions include consulting on store layouts, window displays, and seasonal merchandising strategies.
Now based in Los Angeles, Shivaughn is an active member of the Motion Picture Costumers Union, working as a Set Costumer and Buyer for various TV productions. She specializes in contemporary, period, and cultural fashion, including African, Middle Eastern, and military attire. In addition to her costuming work, she has Costume Design short films and continues to offer freelance styling and creative consulting, bringing innovative concepts to life across various platforms.
